My Fair Lady is one of the greatest and most successful of all musicals. Adapted from Shaw’s play Pygmalion with words by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, it opened on Broadway in 1956 and ran for more than six years, a record at the time. Whether you are familiar with the 1964 film or the recently revived stage show, almost everyone will recognise the succession of unforgettable songs running through this marvellous musical.
